How our guides work
Our guides are built on structured geographic data: every country, region, destination and attraction is a mapped place with its own record, connected to what is around it. That is how a destination page can show you its main sights, nearby places worth a day trip, the activities it is good for and when to go.
Facts that change, such as entry rules, currency, prices, seasons and transport, are written with their source and the date we last checked them. When something matters for your trip, we link to the official source so you can confirm it before you go.
